and Seaweed-based Novel Denture Cleanser: An Study.

抄録

目的:

本研究は、市販の義歯洗浄剤と海藻および海藻の組み合わせの抗真菌および抗菌効果を評価することを目的とした。

AIM: The study ventures into evaluating the antifungal and antibacterial efficacy of commercially available denture cleanser with , seaweeds, and the combination of seaweeds.

材料と方法:

10mm×2mmのポリメタクリル酸メチルの円盤を作製した。サンプルは21個ずつ4群に分けた。義歯床には、それぞれを塗布した。I群にはフィッティデント、II群（と海藻の組み合わせ）、III群（）、IV群（）で処理した。義歯表面に存在するコロニー形成単位を、連続希釈法を用いて異なる義歯洗浄剤で処理する前後で評価した。統計分析は、記述統計、分散分析、およびボンフェローニ分析を用いて行った。

MATERIALS AND METHODS: Poly(methyl methacrylate) disks measuring 10 × 2 mm were fabricated. The samples are divided into four groups of 21 samples each. The denture base was coated with and individually. Group I was treated with Fittydent, group II ( and seaweeds combination), group III (), and group IV (). The colony-formation units present on the surface of the denture were evaluated before and after treatment with different denture cleansers using the serial dilution method. Statistical analysis was done using descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, and Bonferroni analysis.

結果:

10倍希釈では、（IV群）は、.1倍希釈と.2倍希釈の両方を統計的に有意に減少させた。10倍希釈では、（Ⅳ群）と（Ⅱ群）は高い抗菌効果を示し、統計学的に有意であった。フィッティデント（Ⅰ群）は（Ⅲ群）単独と比較して抗真菌効果が高く、統計学的に有意であった。 10倍希釈では、（Ⅳ群）、（Ⅱ群）はフィッティデント（Ⅰ群）と比較して有意差は認められなかった。フィッティデントは（III群）単独と比較して抗菌効果が高く、統計学的に有意であった。

RESULTS: At 10 dilution, (group IV) was statistically significant in reducing both and . At 10 dilution, (group IV) and and (group II) had high antibacterial efficacy and were statistically significant. Fittydent (group I) had higher antifungal efficacy and was statistically significant in comparison to (group III) alone At 10 dilution, the (group IV), , and (group II) showed no evidence of a significant difference in comparison to Fittydent (group I). Fittydent had higher antibacterial efficacy and was statistically significant in comparison to (group III) alone.

結論:

Fittydentは、市販の義歯洗浄剤と比較して高い抗菌効果を示し、市販の義歯洗浄剤と比較して同等の抗真菌効果を示した。

CONCLUSION: and combination and were found to have higher antibacterial efficacy in comparison to commercially available denture cleanser and also were found to have equal antifungal efficacy in comparison to commercially available denture cleanser.
