We commend Müller-Wirtz et al. on their study "Residual volatile anesthetics after workstation preparation and activated charcoal filtration." As the inventors of the Vapor-Clean activated charcoal filters, we applaud this excellent work using multicapillary column-ion mobility spectrometry to improve understanding anesthetic removal with analysis in the parts per billion ranges. We also appreciate that data was collected over 24 hours.
