Effect of roux-en Y gastric bypass surgery on patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus: A protocol of systematic review and meta-analysis.

背景:

これまでの研究では、ルーエンY胃バイパス手術（RYGBS）が2型糖尿病（T2DM）患者に有益であることが報告されている。しかし、それらの結論はまだ一貫性がない。そこで本研究では、T2DM患者に対するRYGBSの効果を評価することを目的とする。

BACKGROUND: Previous studies have reported that roux-en Y gastric bypass surgery (RYGBS) can benefit patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). However, their conclusions are still inconsistent. Thus, this study will aim to assess the effect of RYGBS for patients with T2DM.

方法:

本研究では、MEDLINE、EMBASE、CENTRAL、CINAHL、AMED、CNKIの電子データベースを初期から現在に至るまで、言語や出版状況に制限なく利用した。T2DM患者に対するRYGBSの効果を評価した無作為化比較試験はすべて本研究に含まれる。2人の独立した著者が、事前に設計された包含基準と除外基準に従って研究の検索と選択を行う。同時に、Cochrane risk of bias ツールによるバイアスのリスク評価を 2 人の著者が独立して行う。著者間で意見の相違があった場合は、3 人目の著者が議論を行い解決する。統計解析には RevMan 5.3 を使用する。

METHODS: In this study, the electronic databases of MEDLINE, EMBASE, CENTRAL, CINAHL, AMED, and CNKI from inceptions to the present without any limitations to language and publication status. All randomized controlled trials on assessing the effect of RYGBS for patients with T2DM will be included in this study. Two independent authors will carry out study search and selection according to the previous designed inclusion and exclusion criteria. At the same time, 2 authors will independently evaluate the risk of bias assessment by Cochrane risk of bias tool. Any disagreements between 2 authors will be solved by a third author through discussion. RevMan 5.3 software will be utilized for statistical analysis.

結果:

本研究では、最新の研究をまとめ、T2DM患者へのRYGBSの効果の利用についてより深い理解を得ることができる。

RESULTS: This study will summarize the most recent studies and will provide a deeper understanding about using the effect of RYGBS for patients with T2DM.

結論:

本研究の結果は、T2DM患者に対するRYGBSの効果に関する既存のエビデンスを提示するものである。

CONCLUSIONS: The findings of this study will present the existing evidence for the effect of RYGBS for patients with T2DM.
