OBJECTIVES: Mucous retention cysts and pseudoantral cysts are mainly located within the floor of the maxillary sinus. 方法:

上顎嚢胞を有する4例の症例報告をレトロスペクティブに検討した。これらの患者は、2016年1月から2021年10月の間に元光大学歯科病院でサイナスリフトを受けた。

METHODS: The case reports of four patients with maxillary cysts were reviewed retrospectively. These patients received a sinus lift between January 2016 and October 2021 at the Wonkwang University Dental Hospital.

結果:

不必要な手術を減らし、治療期間を短縮するためには、保存的治療法が必要である。上顎嚢胞がある場合のサイナスリフトは、リフトされた副鼻腔膜が上顎洞の換気を妨げなければ、通常、副鼻腔の問題を引き起こさない。

RESULTS: To reduce unnecessary operations and the duration of treatment, a conservative treatment method is required. A sinus lift in the presence of maxillary cyst will not typically cause sinus problems if the lifted sinus membrane does not interfere with ventilation of the maxillary sinus.

結論:

適切な治療が行われれば、上顎洞嚢胞が存在する状態でサイナスリフトを行った際に副鼻腔穿孔が生じたり、嚢胞液によって骨移植材が汚染されたりしても、必ずしも有害な転帰をもたらすとは限らない。

CONCLUSION: When proper treatment is provided, sinus perforation during a sinus lift performed in the presence of maxillary cyst and contamination of bone graft materials by cystic fluid does not necessarily result in adverse outcomes.
