背景:
化学療法を受けたがん患者の最も一般的な副作用の1つである口腔粘膜炎（OM）は、患者の機能的能力に重度の障害をもたらし、患者のQOLに影響を与え、治療の遅延および/または不完全性をもたらす可能性がある。漢方薬では、化学療法誘発性OMの予防のためにうがいをする漢方薬が経験的に提供されているが、その臨床的有効性と安全性についてのエビデンスは不足している。そこで本研究では，化学療法誘発性OMの予防効果と安全性を評価するために，漢方薬洗口液の臨床効果と安全性を評価するプロトコールを提供する。
BACKGROUND: Oral mucositis (OM), one of the most common side effects for cancer patients who have undergone chemotherapy, can cause severe impairment to patients' functional ability and impact their quality of life, resulting in delayed and/or incomplete treatment. Traditional Chinese medicine offers empirical herbal decoctions to gargle for the prevention of chemotherapy-induced OM; however, evidence for its clinical efficacy and safety is lacking. Therefore, we provide a protocol to evaluate the preventive effect and safety of Chinese herbal medicine mouthwash in chemotherapy-induced OM.
方法:
2020年8月15日までに発表された関連論文を、コクラン図書館、PubMed、EMBASE、中国国家知識基盤データベース、中国生物医学文献データベース、中国科学技術雑誌データベース、萬芳データベースの電子データベースから包括的に検索する。無作為化比較試験のみを対象とする。取り入れた研究の品質評価とリスク評価にはコクランハンドブックに記載されている基準を用い、予防効果と安全性のメタ解析にはRevMan 5.3ソフトウェアを使用する。
METHODS: We will comprehensively retrieve relevant articles published till August 15, 2020, in the following electronic databases: the Cochrane Library, PubMed, EMBASE, Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure Database, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, Chinese Science and Technique Journals Database, and the Wan-fang Database. Only randomized controlled trials will be included. We will use the criteria provided by the Cochrane Handbook for quality assessment and risk assessment of the included studies and use the RevMan 5.3 software for meta-analysis of the preventive effect and safety.

CONCLUSION: This systematic review will provide evidence-based medical corroboration for the clinical application of the Chinese herbal medicine mouthwash in chemotherapy-induced OM.
