The role of dermatology in African patients referred for health treatment in an European Center.

背景:

今日では、アフリカとヨーロッパ諸国間の移動のために、私たちの臨床現場では肌の色の異なる患者に見られる皮膚病が三日月状に増加しています。

BACKGROUND: Nowadays, due to the migratory movement between African and European countries, there is a crescent number of dermatoses seen in patients with skin of colour in our clinical practice.

目的と方法:

ポルトガル語圏アフリカ諸国からいくつかの専門医療機関に避難してきた患者の紹介センターであるポルトガルの病院で5年間のレトロスペクティブな研究が行われ、健康に関する国際協力協定に基づいて、これらの患者に対する皮膚科の外部コンサルテーションによるサポートを評価し、この集団で最も頻繁に見られる皮膚疾患を調査した。

OBJECTIVES AND METHODS: A retrospective 5-year study was conducted in a Portuguese Hospital, a referral centre for patients evacuated from Portuguese-speaking African countries to several medical specialities, under a specific agreement of international cooperation in health, to evaluate the support provided by external consultation of dermatology to those patients and study the most frequent dermatoses seen in this population.

結果:

平均年齢38歳の116人の患者が評価された。約47の皮膚病が同定された。最も多かったのは真菌感染症（12.1％）、湿疹（9.5％）、色素異常症（8.6％）、皮膚乾燥症（6.9％）、にきび（6％）、毛髪障害（6％）の6つであった。

RESULTS: There were evaluated 116 patients, with mean age 38 years. About 47 dermatoses were identified. The six most common were fungal infections (12.1%), eczema (9.5%), dyschromias (8.6%), xerosis (6.9%), acne (6%) and hair disorders (6%).

結論:

このような患者に最も多く見られる皮膚病、その症状、およびそれらに影響を与える要因についての知識は、診断と治療を最適化することを可能にします。

CONCLUSIONS: The knowledge about the most frequent dermatoses in this population, their manifestations, as well the factors that influence them, allows to optimize their diagnostic and therapeutic.
