皮膚筋炎は、特徴的な皮膚症状と近位筋力低下によって定義される。皮膚筋炎の診断には皮膚症状が重要である。一般的な皮膚症状としては，湿疹浮腫，湿疹性皮疹，紅斑などがあり，マラール部に多くみられた．我々は、ヒスパニック系の皮膚筋炎患者を対象とした症例シリーズにおいて、2つの新しい顔面皮膚徴候を報告した。
Dermatomyositis is defined by characteristic skin features and proximal muscle weakness. Skin manifestations are crucial for diagnosing dermatomyositis. Common cutaneous manifestations include heliotrope rash edema, poikiloderma and erythema which is frequently observed in the malar area. We described two novel facial skin signs in a case series of Hispanic patients with dermatomyositis.
