粘膜関連リンパ組織（MALT）から生じる低悪性度胃リンパ腫のほとんどは、感染に直接関連している。胃に限局したMALTリンパ腫のほとんどの症例は、根絶により治癒し、数年間は寛解のままである。対照的に、胃の高悪性度リンパ腫は、潜在的には感染に関連しているものの、通常は根絶に反応しない。ここでは、高悪性度びまん性大細胞型B細胞リンパ腫の女性の症例を紹介する。

Most low-grade gastric lymphomas arising from the mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) are directly related to infection. Most cases of MALT lymphoma limited to the stomach can be cured with eradication and remain in remission for years. In contrast, high-grade lymphomas of the stomach, although potentially related to , do not usually respond to eradication. Here, we present the case of a woman with high-grade diffuse large B-cell lymphoma who achieved complete remission following eradication.
