適格安全性推定（QPS）概念は、EFSAの科学パネルが実施する生物学的薬剤の安全性リスク評価を支援するために、調和のとれたジェネリック事前評価を提供するために開発された。有効な分類単位の同定、知識体系、安全性懸念、抗菌性が評価されました。分類単位について特定された安全性に関する懸念事項は、可能な限り合理的な数の「資格」として反映されており、EFSAの科学パネルが菌株レベルで評価すべきものとなっています。これまで推奨されていたQPS分類単位とその資格を変更するような新たな情報は見つかりませんでした。2016年9月末から2017年3月までの間に、QPS届出リストが更新され、87件の市場認可申請が行われました。この中から、32種の生物学的製剤が既にQPSのステータスを有しており、37種は糸状菌や腸球菌であるため、評価の対象から除外されました。 また、（3件の届出）と（7件の届出）は、QPSに適さないことが再確認され、前回のマンデート内で評価されなかった種もQPSには推奨されませんでした。 以前に評価されたことのない種は、QPSリストに推奨されず、また、有効な種ではないためQPS評価の対象から除外された。

The qualified presumption of safety (QPS) concept was developed to provide a harmonised generic pre-evaluation to support safety risk assessments of biological agents performed by EFSA's scientific Panels. The identity, body of knowledge, safety concerns and antimicrobial resistance of valid taxonomic units were assessed. Safety concerns identified for a taxonomic unit are, where possible and reasonable in number, reflected as 'qualifications' which should be assessed at the strain level by the EFSA's scientific Panels. No new information was found that would change the previously recommended QPS taxonomic units and their qualifications. Between the end of September 2016 and March 2017, the QPS notification list was updated with 87 applications for market authorisation. From these, 32 biological agents already had a QPS status, and 37 were not included in the evaluation as they are filamentous fungi or enterococci. species (  and   (three notifications) and (seven notifications) were re-confirmed not suitable for QPS. and  , not evaluated within the previous mandate, were also not recommended for QPS. spp. and  will be excluded from further QPS evaluations within the current QPS mandate. which has never been evaluated before, was not recommended for the QPS list and for the QPS assessment was not applicable because it is not a validated species. was a new taxonomic unit recommended to have the QPS status.
